What do fgw use on Worcester- Hereford line?

From my trips to the Worcester area I usually see HSTs and 180's on the Paddington trains with 166's on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

On the Bristol trains, I have seen 150s and 158s

08.21x padd and 12.09 back are single 165s, other Herefords are HST. Pdf timetable leaflet shows which are which.

As I said the  0821 x pdn is a 165 - and has to be as it detaches at Worcester currently and at Moreton from May.

Is this service really a 165?  I would have thought that a 166 would have been more suitable.

I was always under the impression the 165 and 166 diagrams were interchangeable?

The LM 150s are contracted to be leased by Northern on 1st April 2019.

Class 166s started operating Bristol TM to Severn Beach services yesterday, replacing 150s.

The SWT set hired by GWR for Swindon-Gloucester services is currently a cl.159 rather than cl.158, because the two car sets are required to make up five or ten car trains in connection with the Waterloo works.
