I've just seen a lynx pass my house with the fleetnumber 1026, with quite a few passengers on. How many Buses are preserved?

The Real 4778

A pal o'mine captured 1026 on camera from the Bartons Arms, where it stopped yesterday afternoon, I'm guessing for refreshment to be taken!
Don't you start.

DOC37V

Lynx 1062 still exists AFAIK

Preserved WM Nats there are

1026
1037
1051 (non runner)

1825 (spares only)
1849

1041 was preserved but may now have bitten the dust up north as the owning company ceased trading and the new owner wanted stupid money for it. A complete waste :(

There is a metrorider at Aston Manor, 685.
Preserving a bit of West Midlands heritage with 1037 and 1849.

Is 1849 a DP example?

No, it was one of the wheelchair accessible ones, with a wheelchair lift on the n/side
