Green led destination blinds

With GREEN led destination blinds it looked like a 4300 trident couldn't quiet get the number
Any one no the number
And us there more???

I thought I read somewhere in this forum that 4368 had been fitted with a coloured LED display which meant that it could be programmed to use multiple colours.  There are buses elsewhere in the country that do this and display different colours for different routes.

I might be wrong so perhaps somebody could correct me.

4368 has apparently got multi coloured LED displays so can only assume it must be that. You would imagine they have done that so that they can experiment with different colours.

I saw 4368 in Harborne on the 23 to Birmingham with green LEDs, compliments the rear dot matrix display well

4368, fitted with FullColour LED Displays... Might I say, it's quite a hassle on HELEN.  ::)

How about this for an idea? Green display for normal workings, and then orange/amber for short workings?

Obviously, we'd need all bus displays to be full colour for this to be truly effective, but not a bad idea don't you all think?

It could work... or "inverted" colours for short workings to make it look different .. (works on ALL display)

I've seen that done before, last year I think during the BUPA run diversions, when the 1 from Acocks Green was only running as far as Moseley Village.

Also, didn't they used to do that at BC for the 957 service? Used to see them in Solihull town centre, alternating through the via points, then showing 'Limited Stop' inverted?
