One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

...but it's not rare to get anything?

There is a B6LE usually allocated to the morning peak board. B7RLE have become more common recently.

So much like BC's 24 route then.. I vaguely recall someone else making that connection.

B7RLEs and Mercs are fairly common, certainly not unusual and a B6 is on every morning as NXWM Spectra states, the only type at Wolverhampton that you can really call unusual on the 59 is the Enviro400H, or a B6 on all day.

I've wondered... why B5LH's but no E400H's? Seems weird as surely it'll want to demonstrate to both drivers and passengers the different hybrid types?

Trident 4609

LS,All 12 E400H at WN are all branded for route 1 so thatsvwhy they are unusual on the 59.

Tbh Less single deckers have been appearing recently but i believe there are tridents in for MOT so single deckers are covering. Plus Sd's are usually replacement buses for defective ones and aren't regually allocated from start of service

There are two peak boards in the morning on the 59

59/09 is usually a trident or a B7RLE
The second board is usually a B6 or Merc (A B7RLE a fewvtimes this week)

59/14 is the afternoon peak board (Depart garage 15:10) and is usually a Trident or Spectra but can be anything from garage

Anyway i will go back on topic.

I was told that there was a Spectra on the 126 yesterday

Saw a Spectra on the 25A near Wednesfield this afternoon going towards Bilston
