I forgot PE ran down Broad Street, so could have been.

You forgot Pensnett ran down Broad Street? A Pensnett bus runs down Broad Street at an average of nearly every 3 minutes during the day each direction

Just came off Broad Street heading for Birmingham.

Could have still been 824 on the 120/140 or 141?

Could have been one of WBs on the 127/128/129.
(could have been one of PEs on the 9 also!)
Or could have been one of BCs on the 22, 23, 24 or 29?

::)

Saw 824 on the 120 today at Dudley ;)
Buses near me are the 4M,24,89,140,205,205E,208,241,289

You forgot Pensnett ran down Broad Street? A Pensnett bus runs down Broad Street at an average of nearly every 3 minutes during the day each direction

Surely can't be an average of every 3 minutes. The most frequent PE routes to Birmingham are the 9 (every 7/8) & the 120 (every 10). There is a bus almost every 3 minutes to Perry Barr with the 33 & 51 both being every 7/8 minutes

8+6+2+2 = 18

60 minutes / 18 buses = just over 3 minutes per bus

The 140/141 create a 15 minute frequency. The 9 is every 7/8 minutes. The 120 is every 10 minutes. I get your point, but they don't overall create an every 3 minute co-ordinate frequency. You'll see a 9 approximately every 5 minutes or less in both directions

Correct, but then you might get 3 buses running together, that's why I said they create an average frequency of just over 3 minutes

BC's frequency along Broad Street is roughly the same:

22 - 4 bph, 23 - 4 bph, 24 - 5 bph, 29 - 3 bph, 29A - 3 bph

Total of 19 buses per hour, so average frequency of 60/19 minutes, which is slightly greater than Pensnett

The 22/23 and 24/29/29A do create a co-ordinated frequency. So in theory, you could expect a bus every 2-5 minutes etc. 22/23 create an every 7/8 minutes frequency and the 24/29/A (Monday-Friday) every 5 minutes.
