It was out on the 952 this afternoon, so is at Perry Barr now anyway. Is there much difference in the layout of the dash on 4698 as I have not seen the dash of it yet

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I presume people are going to go mental because of this thing being painted?

Much as I like the "toothpaste" livery. This now looks very much improved. Mind you that's all you can say about most refurbishments.

Not me! I'm just glad that they kept the black between the lower and upper windscreens. Looks much better IMHO.

Oh yeah that's the difference! Been racking my brains' trying to figure out the difference. Cheers Stu.

And here is 4781 named Brian Robinson

Best bus for this livery. Very nice.

Definitely, not a huge fan of Scania products but wish NX had more Omnicities now as they are certainly the best suited bus to the current livery by a long way

I agree, the livery suits well on Scania OmniCity buses. I saw 4780 on 907 today and I normally use to see these buses in TWM livery, it was nice to see it in NXWM livery for a change. I personally don't like Scania buses but... The OmniCity buses seems the best.

Gareth

I think the names should be done in the same style as the new E400s. I find the stuck on vinyls very cheap looking.
May I ask who Brian Robinson was? A former Perry Barr employee?
