There are no 66 plates.

More buses have arrived at Kidderminster for storage this week, I've noticed travelling to and from work.

Several ex Hotel Hoppa Enviro 200s
Ex Wessex Wright bodied decker
City sightseeing open top decker
And a few other bits and bobs

Rotala will be scrapping 70+ buses over the coming weeks, so their will be a big clearout of withdrawn buses. The E200's could always see more service at somewhere like KR, they should also be low mileage.

I don't think they're are an open toppers within the group fleet, unless stored for someone else.

The original Rotala Order/allocation plan for Diamond WM was as follows:

2 x WF Streetlites 9.5m (March) - Part built at Wrightbus collapse / Purchased from stock - Redditch
4 x DF Streetlites 10.8m (April) - Tividale
7 x DF Streetlites 11.5m (April) - Tividale
2 x DF Streetlites 10.8m (May) - Tividale ?

However, 32311-3 (3 x 10.8m) are understood to be extra to the original order & were purchased from Wrightbus stock (were built to Arriva spec)

66 plate Optare Solo SR's 30050/51 currently at Redditch for the Coventry 1 will be moving to Kidderminster for the 292 when NXC takeover the 1 in a weeks time.

I understand it will be mostly Darts that will be withdrawn as a result of the new Streetlites

Just thinking where "Diamond" could run an open-top tour ??   Birmingham ? Think that has been tried before though.  Maybe Kiddy and Bewdley to include the Safari Park when it re-opens . . . . Now I have visions of the On The Buses film including Longleat {?} Safari Park !

It was Windsor Safari Park, I believe - the one long since closed and turned into Legoland.
