@Winston - I am very good friends with 4 inspectors at Kidderminster I have mentioned it to at least one of those however it has fell on deaf ears each time even though I don't work for Diamond anymore I just feel like going down to the depot and taking the rest of the branding off myself it's like the old saying if you want something doing do it your bloody self maybe @andy41 could kick someone into touch to get it sorted...

Here's another that grates on me (I think attention to detail is important). 30813's nearside had a replacement panel robbed off another Volvo whilst still at Tividale & has a step in the fleetname, KR haven't bothered to rectify it & have put their own mark on the offside with a replacement emergency exit 9which appears to be off a something Blue Diamond branded, as has the sliver relief)

30813 Nearside:

30813 Offside:

Also 30508 nearside:

Unpainted filler & logo has been missing long term.

All of 30508 / 813/814 & 815 could do with tidying up or even repainting.

@Winston - Unfortunately there is no point suggesting anything/pointing things out as again it will be ignored/dismissed for example from past experience of mentioning things when I worked there you get the Bob Baker attitude on things which is "so what" as if to say if it isn't broke I'm not going to rectify it

Just noted 30500 broken down in Bromsgrove bus station , problem with the coolant - or lack of it - as most was on the roadway.  Y48ABA was the only d/d on Kidderminster depot earlier this afternoon.  ;)

Ahh! so that would of been the bus that went past the train station at around 20:30 - Not in Service just as I got off the train followed not far behind by the Kidderminster Engineering Van!

@BN  This Facebook Group makes interesting reading:

Trident 4194

20532 on 142 with paper displays on front and side.

21105 was on 250.

Apparently only one mechanic at Kidderminster

I'm aware what the Facebook page is for, however, there seems to be frequent reports of buses failing to show & passengers left stranded at bus stops for half an hour or sometimes longer. It is any wonder that Kidderminster's routes aren't profitable, people can't afford to run the risk of them not turning up if they have appointments / work / school which they need to be at for set times.

Winston

We run hundreds of trips per day in Kidderminster, and there are a whole range of reasons for none operation.  Breakdown, Severe Traffic conditions, etc.  The most common cause is the severe Traffic conditions and delays created by unplanned roadworks.

Anyone who attended the recent PI, would know that our base realibility was 8% higher than the average West Midlands and TFL benchmarked bus reliability.  The difference is our delays seem to be very well highlighted on social media

If you are interested we run over a hundred thousand trips every month and have statistical information for over a million timing points.  I am sure this scale is nothing compared to NX, but we do have a lot of data to review performance to enable the creation of more robust timetables.

According to a West Midlands Bus Page last night National Express didn't operate a number of journeys on the 4. I don't see that mentioned anywhere.  The difference is for whatever reason we have a disproportionate amount of focus on us.

Winston    a lot of the reports  about things you mention seam to be coming from just a few people  who keep reposting.

One or two people can make a very biased view of reality.

I know you will always get your 'comulsive moaners', but in this instance there's obviously the PI which the TC considers worth investigation & also the Diamond Bus Users group which has been set up.
