Its a shame we carnt see more of TGB on Sunday routes I.e 19, after seeing them today I must say they were outstanding in keeping them on time considering it was there first time running on the routes.

Apart from the 213, 214 which departed at times all over the place. One trip I clocked the 214 as 23 early from a intermeditate timing point (Cradley) and nothing after 1445...

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Does anyone have a full rundown of what the green bus was operating today??

Sh4318

The 6 & 37 seemed to be fully dd today. The 6 allocated Tridents and Enviros and the 37 allocated Geminis. Can't say I'm too surprised about that, 2 most frequent services to two main shopping hubs (Birmingham & Solihull), deckers were justified by loadings too

Did Green Bus operate Walsall evening 70s today?

Gareth

Yesterday, National Express West Midlands announced via their facebook page that, Boxing Day was the busiest day of 2013. They revealed that on that day 250,000 passengers were carried.
I find that figure and statement most odd. What happened to the days of a million passengers a day? Even with fleet and service reductions looking 750,000 in 15 years is shocking! Has someone got the numbers mixed up? I just find it very hard to believe that a day with a Sunday service, with many routes stopping around 6-8pm that is was the busiest day of the year.

Your thoughts please :-)

How can they posdsibly say that Boxing Day was the busiest day of 2013, for a start on a Monday to Friday, many many more buses run than ran on Boxing day and these buses are very full and standing.

Think someone has got confused there.

Did they mean to say it was the busiest Boxing day bus service ever?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Well the 87s were rammed, even in the evenings, so it was very busy on Boxing Day, busiest day of the year? That I don't know

250,000 doesn't seem a lot to me either.

"The busiest Boxing Day in 2013" - well, naturally yes, as there is only one Boxing Day a year, unless I missed a memo?  ;)
