I think they should recombine the 35 and 27 into one mega route that does 35 route to Hawkesley and 27 route thereafter...

Doesn't the 61, 63, X62 go to Bournville anyway?

Not really. It depends on where you live - if you live close to the Bristol Road then you could argue that it goes through Bournville for about 3 stops, but if you don't, then no.

How far is Cadburys to the Bristol Road

Cadburys is much closer to the Pershore Road, than Bristol Road

With regards to the 27, if it gets upgraded to Scanias, I'd quite like to see a branding associating it with Cadbury World! Perhaps a purple allover livery, to fit in with Bournville's purple lamposts and post boxes etc!

Reading this i have vague memories of the 35 route been different to what it is now, can someone remind me of what this used to be and when the changes occurred?

Or even purple wheels!

A purple livery would be excellent for the 27.

Maybe then I wouldn't mind running for it so much in the mornings...

A purple livery would look great on a omnilink

Therfore is if its closer to Pershore Road you have a every 5 minutes 45/47 to Cadbury world, so why would you need a 84/84A, although it dont sound like a bad idea

The 84 already exists and it links Hawkesley with Cotteridge and the QE. The only suggestion regarding the 84 was to extend to the City Centre. No mention of Cadbury World.

Check out Peter123's comment above. The 35 for a time used to extend fromPool Farm and Hawkesley all the way round the then 27 route to terminate in Kings Heath where it had already passed through. So it went from Birmingham to Kings Heath via Kings Heath!
