Ok I completely misread that. The similar names threw me off. On the repaint front, they have got some ex-London 09 plate buses running in the London red with the BlueStar decals on them so they will do that if the needs arise.

Quote from: ellspurs on July 12, 2024, 06:57:15 PMAh I did see some Hants & Dorset buses (then had a long think as to why the abbreviation was "Hants" for Hampshire), I didn't realise they were GoAhead too. I did randomly see two Stagecoach training buses in Eastleigh today, mind you.

They have got some brand new 24-plate buses on the BlueStar routes down here as well.
Been a part of Go Ahead for around twenty years now after they bought Wilts & Dorset.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

4472 and 4625 have been placed in reserve at Miller Street, not fully withdrawn yet in case there's a delay in putting the new electrics into use and they are needed in September

Is there a time scale for the demise of the BC Tridents?

Looking at the images from Swindon yesterday the ex NE 09 plates will be a massive upgrade for the passengers.

the only double decks they have are 9 55 plate (ex transdev london), 2 06 plate omnidekkas (ex reading), and 2 51 plate trident presidents (ex lothian)

meaning their newest DDs are over 18 years old. SD wise their fleet is pretty fine though mainly being comprised of solars and E200s and MMCs.
