I know we've been given plenty of notice of the type's demise, but it still feels unbelievable that the end is nigh.

Mates have referred to 4114 for over a decade as my 'machine,' as it was the first bus I saw every day for seemingly weeks on end back in 2001 or so.  I have always had a liking for the ex Sutton batch, and 4114 has long been my fave bus on the fleet.

Plackys dropping like flies at west brom rear car park currently parked up 4047 branded 5 the other  4049 parked inside by admin,4051, 4102
I wander what will be used on west broms 5 service as I understand it there's some sort of quality partnership with centro tfwm what ever they are called this week.

Yes, I was just waiting for Tony's confirmation on that, but it looks like a few more WB ones have been laid up. So probably less than 20 there. I think that totals 65 in the West Midlands and 21 in Dundee [not totally sure if 4111/3/6 are withdrawn and are still around]. Potentially 86 still in ownership out of a total of 102 delivered (16-17 years ago) which ain't bad.

Two wb presidents been bought down pensnett was dumped in bottom yard one was a five branded bus

I know they're in reserve but they're unlikely to see service again so do we know when or if the Scania bendies will be leaving Miller Street ?
