i like it how everyone seems to be experts when it comes to things like this.

One comment is "Over revved engine glad no one hurt", how does this person know this, if it was NIS then the only person who knows exactly what happened would be the driver.

Lol. An over revved engine will not cause this. (It would cut out before any damage was caused! Same when they have no water)

More likely a broken thermostat sensor so the thing didn't know when to cool itself down. Only speculation of course.

I had imposed silence on myself but such a spectacular passing of one of these sheds (with no reported injuries) is too tempting an opportunity not to celebrate I'm afraid.

What a pity the wind wasn't blowing towards the pits at AG where no doubt another 5 or 6 were in their usual residence being bodged up to just about limp round another circuit on the 11 before expiring again.

I think theyre the best deckers along with the geminis that NX have. The interiors are great, they don't rattle like the tridents and actually have heaters that work. Always liked presidents but they do have quite a small engine don't they-they never like the heat either-on the bristol road on a hot day they would sound awful.

But yes you're right. Likewise the B9 have a 9.3 litre engine, and the B5 have a 5 litre engine (in conjunction with the electric motor)

I personally think they're 9.6 from memory, someone will no doubt correct me if that is wrong! DVLA doesn't seem to agree with me and says 1411 is 7.5 litres, it is also saying 1406 has 0 litres and 1407/1408 are "unavailable".

According to the vehicle lookup available to me (I work in automotive parts distribution) 1411 (P411EJW) is a 9.6 litre engine. Which sounds about right being a B10  ;)

Tridents have the Cummins C series 8.3 litre. Don't take Volvo codes as gospel - B10 = 9.6 litre, B6 = 5.45 litre
