It started with the introduction of summer timetables during the summer holidays, they then seemed to go away for a short time after normal timetables resumed, but then started coming back on a daily basis by late September.

Euro 3 B7TLs are less common on there (due to them being prioritised for the city centre routes), but do happen from time to time.

That in itself is unusual, the general trend is 1-2 Presidents per day

A couple of deckers a week has been normal for November. More deckers did appear in September / October.

(Working at Birmingham University is very useful for spotting the 48)

The police HQ in the city centre would be a good place to work for spotting buses! :)

1910 on the 35 today; took my first trip on it today from Kings Heath to B'ham and surprised to see the Scania come along. Driver wasn't used to it; she kept hitting the curve at times.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
