I reckon the Hagley Road traffic in Edgbaston is really clogged up, hence why it was terminated at the Ivy Bush and not just round the corner at Five Ways, which is what it usually does

Yet again i saw another 59E to Wednesfield about 17:15 on Rookery St opposite Sainsburyd. Bus was 4020.

OH25

There was an 8E to Victoria Street today

Never seen any unscheduled E's in Walsall.

Do they happen?

(Could do with them on the Dudley route,  he  says, sitting in a queue at Wednesbury High Bullen!)

Pretty sure I've seen 51E's to Aston Six ways and Perry Barr, and 301/301 E's to Bloxwich only

Would have never imagined that would even be programmed into the displays - I'm impressed!

Just spotted a 61 running into town in service using the Northfield bypass.

I assume it must have run as the 61E or 63E to Northfield town centre, and is now doing the return journey

Not to my knowledge. Full service it just had to use the bypass due to congestion and somebody jumping from Grovesnor.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
