4900 - 47E - Turves Green

Can't see a Diamond thread for this sort of thing, but also a 002 to Manor Lane this morning (wherever that is). Very rare to see a short working on the 002.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

Where would this terminate if edenhurst etc isn't served by it ?

Turves Green is actually a road - the one that runs from Staple Lodge Road down to Longbridge Lane. There are a few 47 stops along that stretch.

The pings on bustimes suggests that 4900 either ran the full route, or terminated somewhere on Turves Green and then ran empty to its normal terminus. Driver may have put the code in wrong?

I saw a WN B7 with exactly the same on the blinds at around 21.00hrs last night pass the McDonalds at Fallings Park. First time I've ever seen it!
Autofare 3 - the ticket that laughs in the face of contactless!

It's because of the little darling who live past that point on the route thinking buses are a target for pot shots

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Would I be correct in thinking it's not as easy to divert Wolves 11, as it is to divert Walsall 29, as that route got affected by it's own little darlings in the Coalpool area, but NX simply diverted it up Bloxwich Road, past the depot, turn at Harden Road up to Walker Road, then normal route, missing a good 90% of the route, but still providing a Blakenall service, if not a Coalpool service.

They could run the WN11 up to The Scotlands Island, along the A460 to bypass the actual estate and turn left onto Underhill Lane and left to head back to the terminus. Not ideal for the passengers that need the service on The Scotlands estate, but saves a fortune on windows.

6746 just left Birmingham on a 936E to Aldridge.

Well if they have to, they have to.

Is there much feedback from Underhill residents over this?
