A number of short workings on the Harborne corridor at the moment. Hardly surprising given the state of the city centre

2134 currently working a X21 short from city to University
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

6887 - X21, Weoley Castle.

I've noticed that the next stop announcements seem to stop when a route is adjusted early.

I'm sure they've worked when i've been on a X2 short to Yardley Swan from Solihull, but then again those are timetabled.
There certainly seems to be a connection between those next stop announcements and the destination displays as well though - there were no next stop announcements on 6853 on a X2 to Birmingham this afternoon as the driver had not changed the display from X2 Solihull so they were stuck displaying "Solihull Railway Station"
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Yeah it makes that noise that it does when the display is being changed and then cuts out the rest of the announcements.

I always wonderd does the 4H or 4M have an E or not

44xx (didn't see all the fleet number) 97E Shirestone Road at 0745 this morning passing Selfridges. It's been a long time since i saw this and it was great to see "E" instead of "Short Journey"

Stu

6 to Robin Hood Island. The inverse 'Short Journey' text doesn't really work on flip-dot displays in my opinion, which are hard to read at a distance at the best of times, just looked a garbled mess!
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath
