Judging by your comment, it would seem to be an isolated incident

Surely a short on the 11 never displays 11AE, so why would a 4M short display 4ME?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Every time a 4M has done a short when i had seen them has be 4E, @BU07 LGO is there a 4ME on walsall blinds? Like @Stuharris 6360 said 11AE doesn't exist always 11E regardless of which way it goes. X96 never seems to display X96E just X96 (for Stourbridge and Dudley shorts)
The Funny sounding Enviro 400

15 Wolverhampton to Merry Hill
15A Wolverhampton Merry Hill
16 Wolverhampton to Stourbridge

Why should it only be X96E to Merry Hill, surely X96E is equally as valid to Stourbridge or Dudley if they want to use the E?

I was attempting to say the same thing, it should just be an E journey,

I saw 4040 on an 11E to Erdington at Perry Barr around 11.30 this morning.

I only mention it as the display was set out like the 74E Handsworth, Island Road display. I've never seen it on the Outer Circle displays before

Yeah they've changed the displays on the LED buses. 11E to Ward End is the same, with Fox and Goose in the small writing.

Edit: the 45xx Geminis are still the same format as before

All the Outer Circle short workings were changed this weekend to make them easier to spot

I bet you'll still get people running to catch them when they arrive at the last stop!  :D
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Liverpool Street

If the route number has a prefix letter and that route has a short working, it will not show as an E, only the short destination.

If the route number has a suffix letter, that said letter will be replaced by an E and will show the earlier final destination

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

How are those programmed in Helen as I can't seem to figure it out because there is no option on HELEN which is what NXWN use for anyone interested

@WN - Manually, I assume. That's how I would have done it? Not too complicated, but quite a faff!
