I got a lift to Portabello Island then raced for a 326 back to Bloxwich!

(Dont mind paying 60p in an emergency!)

Merry Hill completely gridlocked earlier.

I dropped 6111 off at Pensnett and got a lift from a bus going to Merry Hill with the intention of catching a 4M back to Walsall. My lift just got stuck in traffic not moving so I got off, walked up to Brierley Hill to get 246/313. While I was on the 313 got an email from the Merry Hill Inspector saying whole centre stopped

My X96 was around 35 mins late when I took over it was still late when I came off at 20:50 supposed to have been off at 20:32

I've never noticed one before at this time of day, but there was a 94E to Ward End, Fox and Goose seen at Saltley just before midday.

I saw a 4e from Walsall to Delves around 6pm yesterday.

(Took me back to 1980 something with the 404e they used to run! Where do they turn round?)

Wasn't there something like the 323/324 Walsall to Delves back then too? Never been to Delves, but always sounded a bit rude to me.

Yeah, there was. A sort of legacy from the handover from the Corporation days.

It ran as far as Delves Post Office.

It got absorbed into the 401 service at deregulation, which later became the 405!
