Hockley only allocated 3 with share of 901.
When Lea Hall gave share of 966 to Hockley more buses came over.
Also Ex Dudley/West Bromwich came over when Hockley fully took over 901.

Dudley was only allocated 3 for service 926 which ended by 1988.

What were walsalls used on then? Never saw one on the 950/1/2 but they were used at least once on the 301 to cannock

They used to get on the 901 as well. Lea Hall's were the odd ones that didn't seem to have a route, initially 6820/3 (1820/3) later 1820/1. I took both 1820 & 1821 to York on Private Hires at different times, no speed limiters fitted, and could easily get to 80mph if you weren't watching your speed

There is one route forgotten about initially.

The 907 Walsall to Hednesford via Cannock & Pye Green,  which later got replaced by the extended 951/952.

Think that was inter worked with the 301, so I'd be surprised if Timesavers appeared on that.

If that is the case (Tony?), South Staffordshire never saw the Timesavers until the 951/952 extension!

was the 902 ever consider to be a Timesaver route?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

If remember correctly, the 962 had an All Night Service from Bull Street to Chelmsley wood.   Seem to remember driving 67N, 104N and 962N from Miller Street Garage.

You remember correctly. I used to use it regularly when I lived in Castle Bromwich. Another regular bus on the 962 (not the night service) was 4242 the superb (to travel on) Metro-Scania, flying machine!

Wasn't the 902 & 159 not combined to form the Timesaver  900 Hasbury - Coventry?
