I saw this new style of destination on a few hybrids today. The 24 has a whole new outbound destination layout showing:

Woodgate Valley   (Large) then alternates between

Simmons Drive
Quinton and Worlds End
Via Five Ways and Harborne

Liverpool Street

Yes Mike, I seen I think 4428 on the 63 with an odd looking Frankley, Holly Hill squashed up on the top line, LED displays for ya.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

And the 99 now shows 'Halesowen Town'!?

WTF?

I suppose it implies Halesowen Town Centre

How long have (maybe only BC's) buses had these new destinations? My pass ran out last week so I haven't used a bus since, was shocked to look out my window this morning and see 98 City Centre and a list of the via points like the x64 has.

Posted this earlier but it mysteriously vanished.

Interesting picture of 4909 there with the extra band of green pertaining to the route branding. What do people think of it? And also a named bus! Kind of reminds me of 4177.
NXWM seem to have several "named" buses now. Will soon be like Eddie Stobart where you have to wait 3 years to get your name on a truck.

I wouldn't go that far, this seems like a fad which will die out soon enough. NX doesn't seem to continue things very long.

I've only noticed this tonight.

The 98 (outbound) now reads:

Rubery Great Park
University Stn       QE Hospital
Selly Oak              Northfield
Longbridge            Rednal

Not sure if I like it or not. Personally I think Five Ways or Edgbaston would've been better than "University Stn".
