First route to go low floor was the 33, the B6s were used fairly randomnly initially

I think 590 was the 1st branded route in 1996.

As these was new routes/renumbering from April 2010/July 2011 I have written first bus type allocated to them.

I don't think any route at Walsall will gain new buses apart from flagship routes

May I butt in and answer, if you don't mind, Trident4609? I remember 908 used to have the Wright Eclipse Urban buses. I don't seem to remember the Tridents, though.

I remember (Went near my house as the 560,908 now the 89) as the 560 had tridents the first few weeks it was mainly tridents but B7RLE's started being used due to residents in High Heath were moaning about the use of double deckers down their road or something along those lines


Yes B7RLE's were then the main allocation and are still to this present day on the 89 along with tridents

September 2000 became Fully Volvo B7RLE allocation due to

Tridents didn't start appearing on 89 until September 2011 and currently

Scnias 3201-3247 were also new for the 50. I think that was about the first time since the Bristol Road Jumbos a batch of double decks had been put new on one route. All PTE spec fleetlines and Metrobuses were just allocated to garages for general fleet replacement
