Yes most journeys are going into Solihull so I believe partly due to falling passenger numbers and the demonstrator has gone

Whats happening to the X20? Is it going to serve Solihull instead of Birmingham City Centre as was said above?

YY16YLL and SN58FWL are on the X20 today.

Isn't the X20 subsidised by Warwickshire County Council, and therefore has to run the full route? Or was the funding dropped when Johnsons took over back in 2009?

Just seen the timetable from September on the Johnsons website and its still going to Birmingham, so the rumors of it going to Solihull instead are wrong.
Do Wawrickshire County Council subsidise the X20 in Birmingham?

The change is the Sunday service will be withdrawn from September.

I believe the X20 is mainly, perhaps totally commercial.  Warwickshire did financially support it for several years but Johnsons decided to go commercial a little while ago.

As 2206 says, the only change to the X20 in September will be the withdrawal of the Sunday service - which will mean that Johnsons will no longer run buses on Sundays.

It cant be all that busy if Johnsons are withdrawing the sunday service wonder if any other operator will step in to run the sunday service

If they're withdrawing the Sunday service due to a lack of patronage, I doubt any other operator will step in to run Sunday journeys.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I would imagine Sunday is quite a busy day for them on their coach side

Looking at the x20 the bank holiday mondays are busy but sundays are not so good. Obviously the bank holiday monday service wouldn't work unless you ran sundays as well & there arent enough of those to make it viable.
