That's a good point @Dylanbusboy45 , does Johnsons have an outstation for Coventry as it is a bit of a way out for the 539 & 580 as well as the 42 / 87?

I don't think so no but it would be a good idea so that if something brakes down, they don't need to take it all the way back to Henley.

Seen a Johnsons van in Coventry before now but not sure if that was for a breakdown or just the equivalent of their staff bus

I don't think so - certainly there is no operating centre in the Coventry area shown on the VOSA website.  When I caught an 87 from Coventry to Solihull one Saturday afternoon, I was surprised when we changed driver at Cannon Park.  Could it be more convenient to dash up the A46 from Stratford to Cannon Park than to get from Stratford to Solihull?
