I read Metro daily so i can tell you not all of the buses have Metros on. Sometimes the journey i catch on the 59 to school at 8:15 usually doesn't have a Metro on but i got on the 9 at 14:20 and it still had lots of Metros on so it can vary on each bus/route.

So maybe Metro papers were not placed on those buses

Liverpool Street

Its at the depot for 0315hours.

Some drivers don't put any on. (Like me when I was at BC)

They're a pain in the asre.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

It's full of celebrity rubbish anyway!

Only thing I like to read is the corrections to see where they've goofed up. Oh and the rush-hour crush can be funny.

I like to read all except sport as it keeps me entertained on my journeys out and about  ;D ;D

One immediate improvement NXWM could make to vehicle cleanliness is to get rid of the Metro.  The damn things always seem to end up on the floor or on the seats rather than being taken away.  As Matt says, it is full of celebrity tat and bilge and if passengers want news on their journey they are more likely to be using their mobile or Blackberry than reading the Metro.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

Also, why do people have to rifle through the pile, instead of just taking the first one off the top?  :o

And when people sit down next to a neatly folded copy that someone has left behind, then get up to grab another one off the pile!  :-\
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Never seen that happen before! Not in Wolverhampton atleast

NXWM Spectra

People may take more interest if The Metro took a certain feature from The Sun.

Come on, you all know exactly what I'm talking about. I expect some of you have spent hours looking at them.

Personally I quite enjoy reading them, passes the time especially if I've got a crap bus! Part of the reason I always aim for Diamond over TGB on the 50 is because I'll have something to read, that combined with the fact I hate ZF tridents!

PM

I think theyre quite good tbf usually read them on the way to school-nice quick summary of the news and just because ppl ditch them on the floor its not an argument to get rid of them-theyre never in a mess on diamond buses either on seats, on pile or in the bin and maybe if NX provided rubbish sacks like TGB do then there would be less rubbish as opposed to pathetic ticket bins the metro doesnt fit into.

Tbh there can be some funny stories in the Metro  ;D  Especially the Cheesy texts featured in Rush Hour Crush. Usually has a text declaring their love for someone whom they've seen during their journey even though the person its sent to probably won't even read it! ;)

Then it will say below something like Smiling Ginger Beareded Guy hold Ipad!

At least it helped me pass the time while on a very slow 4580 on the 126 from Wolverhampton-Dudley this morning
