42821 I think saw it yesterday by Hodge Hill Tesco's on the 11C about 11:30ish @2206
Think a few of them have the Greatest Hits Radio ad, not just 4282 @Squiz1971. 4288 and 4286 do as well I believe.

B7TL ALX400 on the 11A today. Whichever one it is it has an overall advert for
Greatest Hits Radio and was at Ward End at 13:00.
Possibly the oldest bus in service in the West Midlands today, since its Sunday.

What service would the YW platinums go on if they went to AG?
Them going to BC makes more sense. The Platinums go on the 45/47 and the E400s that the 45/47 used to use will go on either the 14 or the 97. (Most likely the 14 as the none of the 97 branded buses have been debranded yet.)

yes I think the 14 as even before the lockdown a lot of E400 have been appearing

Also after checking there is 20 branded for the 97 and for pershore road I think it was 19 so that's one less branded bus so there could be a chance they get put on the 97

What is the PVR of the X1/X2 and PVR of the X12?
Presumably the X1/X2 PVR is higher, but by how much I wander? Therefore if that did ever happen I wander if AG would lose another route as well as the X12?

Although the principal Brum to Solihull route is the 37 and you would think deserved Platinum.

Could equally say the X2 is the principal Birmingham to Solihull route. As think its fastest. And that ones already platinum.

Don't think every route can have brand new platinums. Its been the 4/4A now for 2 years. I doubt the 4/4A would get an upgrade any time soon, due to the fact there probably wouldn't be anywhere else for the E200 MMC to go. As NX already have a surplus of single deckers and no need for any more.

They could move the E200MMC upto Dundee in a swap

20+ buses, in a swap for what?
And why do Dundee need another 20+ single deckers?

So what does the  future hold for these 'surplus' single deckers?

The single deckers aren't actually surplus, it's just getting more difficult to find new homes for them when they're available for cascade.

A number of single deckers have been absorbed by NX winning various TfWM tenders of late.

As for Dundee, I assume they're also in the same boat i.e. they need to keep the proportion of double deckers as they are or increase.

Coming out the other side of all this may re-shape things going forward, who knows at present.

If the 97 gets the E400s, where do it's tridents go?

Scrapped i'd presume as they're 17 years old.

When they've already been upgraded with Euro 6 exhaust systems - unlikely.
