There are no notices anywhere at Olton that say the 37 will stop serving the station in 6 days, nor any on the E200s. I wonder if the rerouting has been postponed or cancelled.

I was on 4658 yesterday on the 31 and we had a very interesting journey...Was sat outside Acocks Green Garage for about 10-15 minutes awaiting a driver. When someone eventually turned up, we started moving. Later on in Sparkhill another driver changeover occured, and the one who was on 4658 ran onto another 31 coming the opposite way. Any idea what happened?

Driver must have taken over the wrong bus.

Possibly. Although we waited 10 minutes for a driver. And someone else took over further on.

Steveminor

Possibly the driver was late to the takeover point so another driver started that portion for him

Nah it wouldn't be a late driver. If it was late, the bus would have gone back to garage and then adjusted back in when the late driver showed up.

It sounds like the driver who drove to Sparkhill took over the wrong bus, as the relief points are Westley Road and Fox Hollies Road. He probably was on the wrong side of the road which happens more often than you would have thought. I've seen 11C drivers accidentally take over 11As in the past lol.

What I'm wondering is where the hell did this other driver come from in Sparkhill?

Well it was heading towards the garage and I'm sure I've seen it around before.
