Any particular reason why you would be considering transferring garages so soon? Fed up with going round in circles?

Lmao you got it in one. Plus I wanna experience driving other vehicles I suppose. Not sure on whether I'll be outta here yet, if I can get off the Outer Circle spares rota (the crap duties that nobody else want on the worst route) then yeah lol.

Forgive me for asking, but what makes a "crap duty"? I'm guessing it's just poor start/finish times, just curious really.

Here's a crap duty 06.25 book 87/01 till 1043 then city bound 83/05 1409 relief till 1759
A good duty 1412 book on 83/08 blackheath bound 1442 relief till 1946

Stevo

Sorry, but what does relief till 1759 or relief till 1946 mean? Do you mean you work the 83 till 1759?

On the crap duty he takes over the bus at 14:09, on the good duty he takes over from the other driver at 14:42.

As someones mentioned already, word in garage confirms the rumour that the 73 is moving to BC. Obviously it's a rumour still.

It's not a rumour, it's posted up in BC garage, even the dutys are up. The 70 and 73 will be on one rota.

Does BC have much spare garage capacity?

Might the transfer of the 73 be anything to do with AG being short of drivers?

Not sure about that, just know the 70 will only go as far as Chelmesley Wood.

I don't think the 73 would require too many buses, BC are also short of drivers, maybe not so much as AG though.

Could the 73 be going single deck then, there's been a few singles on there lately? Also if the 70 is withdrawn between Solihull & Chelmsley, will the 72 be going back to an over all 20 min frequency, up to the current 15 min frequency?
