Just wondering how long the 11A/C takes to do one circular of the outer circle

Depends on the time of day and how bad the traffic is, takes anywhere between 2 to 2 and a half hours.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

It's a nice way to kill a couple of hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon  ;)

Plenty of shops, takeaways, houses, hospitals, chavs, pubs, congestion but not all bad

There is Sarehole Mill on the route between King's Heath and Hall Green College - that's a nice little area.

And Bournville Green is very pleasant.  And if you want any chocolate, Cadbury World is only a few mins walk away.

And of course Birmingham prison!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Wouldn't stop round that area to long

Just a thought, but if the 11 does get new buses, wouldn't it be an idea to have loudspeakers fitted and a commentrary of the route on certain journeys so those who are tourists/having a journey round the circle can identify the Landmarks?

Winson Green surely!! It's like calling Wormwood Scrubs London prison!!

One of my first 'bus' memories is being taken round the Outer Circle route - on a BCT Daimler CVA6 of the 15xx GOE registered series! It probably took just as long.
