I was hoping that 4780 was still knocking about the garage today, but was not inside (I wanted to be nosey!). There was another 2 OmniCitys parked up and at least 4 OmniCity Artics parked in the garage today, and obviously quite a few deckers on the 67, including a Gemini, at least 2 ALX400s and an Enviro400

I'd say, repaint / refurbish all the omnicities to look like that, put them all on the 94, they'll think they've had an upgrade, job done

The branding for the Evening saver had been changed from £5 to £7, on 4936-9

I would have thought the Solo's would possibly been wiped out in the next year or so with the new buses due over the coming few years

Definitely agree, if I were National Express I would have shoved a personalise reg plate on it, then no one would have any idea

The O405N having work done in Perry Barr is 1687, it is been converted into a mobile classroom by the looks of it, some windows panelled over and a little room has been created on the nearside around halfway down the bus

I know quite a few people don't rate Solos but I think the fact some of them have managed over 14 years in service with a major operator shows what a good bus they actually are. I also like driving them as they are quite punchy for a small bus. Most minibuses in the past only lasted 7/8 years before withdrawal so these have more than paid their way. Hopefully one will get preserved when they finally end service - 320 would be a good candidate.
