agree the 4 new cross city routes announced recently are many many years away, just look at the dudley road improvements we are years in only fraction of the work done.

Yes some 2013 branded e400s at bc used to carry orange branding I believe (before that carried green 900 branding Im sure). Also not sure of fleet numbers.
The colour scheme for route branding we may see joint up.

Granted, but we've seen all of the X1/2 debranded. And a few of each at Perry Barr have had there's removed. Bar 16's

Why are so many platinums allocated to the 14 today. The 907 could use them. Should actually make the Sutton lines platinum. Even bc doesn't allocate it platinums

Bus is a bus. No one cares as long as it turns up.

The Sutton Lines are Platinum.

BC used to use Platinums on the 14.

If a bus is a bus what's the point of 'platinum' spec? I don't see the 9 a full allocation of tridents.

I see the X4 regularly use e400s at peak times, when there's Sutton platinum branded buses all over the place.

If they keep running services like these they'll be turned odious.

Services have been running like this since 2016...

Since 2020 i've noticed buses are used more a less wherever they can and need to be, none of PB's Decker routes have a solid allocation, just OmniCities are banned off the X3/4/5 cause of the bridge towards Shenstone.

The 9 regularly coughs up E400's...

'Platinum' has been the default spec for all new bus purchases since they were introduced.

It is just the new 'standard'.

Someone quick-witted 🙌🏻

Platinum isn't the standard vehicle, it may be predominantly platinum in the city. However my point remains.

The Sutton lines have always required around 30 vehicles, and been kept update every few years, those 3 routes tend to be more respected by passengers . While the 14 was allocated predominantly tridents with the odd e400 before arriving at PB. Now the Suttons regularly serve that clarty route.

The 14 has been mostly Platinum and E400 as well as the odd omnilink omnicity appearing even more so since the 44XX left PB last year. The 94/95 could also see any bus type when they were at PB to before.

With the X1 leaving BC, those platinums will also be freed up for another route. Guess they might go on the 60 or even the 14
