They should a least sort the number sequencing out like in others areas. I.e make the 94 56 or 55 95. I wonder if they will ever be upgraded or branded, wondered for years.

If it it ain't broke it don't need fixing.

Could be that they are going to be interworked, with BC and PB both inputting resources onto the routes?

They don't interwork already. 55 is run from BC and 94 from PB, though unless they'd split them between both depots like the 12/13 I guess.
I think the renumbering of 55 to 95. So the City Centre - Ward End services are 94/95 makes sense, like the Harborne routes are 23/24 and Stratford Rd 2/3/4/5/6, etc.

Yes, could be.  That's the only thing along the lines of a "merger" that I can think of.

It could also just be another of these 'unsubtantiated' rumours that people keep putting about.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

[unsubstantiated stupid rumour]They're going to build a new depot next to the HS2 interchange at Middle Bickenhill and combine them there, along with the hotly sought after 53 route![/sarcasm]

Slightly more seriously (but not really)...

If they change it, you'll know it'll be changed to the 25 and 25.[/sarcasm]

More seriously, putting all the services that serve Chelmsley Wood in the 90s series would probably be the best if they were going to sort the number sequencing. Already have 94, 96, 97 there. Just need to integrate 14, X12, X70, 71 and 72 in there, as well as the A10 from Landflight if we want a full set (ie renumber it back to 91).

1870 is out on the 8C tonight. Back on the road after 435 days missing.

Longest missing bus now moves to 862 at WA. That one is in the spray booth and will be back shortly as well

Mayfield

Can I ask why 1870 has been missing for so long pls.

6113 & 6147 were both runnning through Ward End today on the 94. Other buses out on the 94 were platinum buses.

Also strange seeing Lower Bull Street with no buses running up it.
