Typical trend spending money on same routes

I'm curious how you arrived at that conclusion this time. The 16 hasn't had new buses for a very long time
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

The 07 singles at the same time as the 97 and then the ex 9 buses with branding a couple of years back. Yes I can come to that conclusion.

When was the last time the 16 had money spent on it? I've said plenty of times, it's PB's most frequent route

Really? I personally find the Platinums a big step up from the standard E400s at BC - quicker off the mark, and much nicer seating and legroom. I feel cheated when a standard E400 turns up on the 23. I even had to endure the indignity of a 97 branded Trident a few weeks back  ;)

We're all different I guess. Most people probably would prefer Platinums but as an enthusiast the E400s have more charcacter and at least you can still get an odd Trident and a few unbranded ones. If it goes Platinum, everything will be an MMC which I find rather boring. I do understand the extra features of them though, and most people are happy about them due to that

The voith ones are definitely better than the zf with regards to acceleration I would say. The mk1 e400s are brilliant, and the most recent batch late (49**) seem much quicker than the middle batch

I can see the 16 and 7 going Platinum tbh, it equals up, there is/was 12 buses branded for the 16 and 7 branded buses for the 7. If I remember PB will be getting 20 something Platinums?
