Happens regularly over the weekend
I was going to say. 4489 is doing the Sunday 52 (not 52A). I know the Gemini's are common but Sundays are normally SD. First Decker I've seen on a Sunday since the end of last year.

Gemini's on the 33 happen most days? @John

Great 1 down, 4 to go ....... please !

Each to their own, but I love these quirky, rare buses.  If it were up to me, the bland faceless grey porridge Tridents would be extinct.  Fortunately we don't have any on Sutton routes except the occasional 366 or 377 interloper from Walsall.
Don't you start.

I love them as well, better than any MK1 E400. It's the legroom that is their downfall, but other than that they can fly down roads. 4779 is the best!

Has 4291 got a new engine, it is sounding a bit strange on the 16 today...

The 33 seems to be mostly Gemini operated today, with at least four out of six buses being Gemini's. So far I've seen 4696, 4691, 4694 and 4494.

Like the good old days of the 33 being full Gemini operation. I do miss the 'Line 33' branding on the Gemini's, and them blasting their fans around tight roads like Lambeth Road/Warren Farm Road etc. The 33 is a good route for Gemini thrash!

The only route for that now is the 11, and the occasional Outer Circle Gemini's that stray off route and end up on the 5/31. They still have the blaring cooling fans.

The perry common section of the 65 can be quite good for this also

The Crimsons still blast their fans around, 4489 and 4504 are blasting them and 4503.

I've always preferred the 7 over the 65 for many reasons. The 7 is longer but a more interesting route and nice route. Mixture of ALX400's, Gemini's and E400s. The 65 in my opinion is a more boring straight lined route. The 67 isn't too bad,

The crimson Geminis all have the new electric fans fitted, so you cannot hear the hydraulic pump blasting away like you can on an unmodified Volvo

4489 was doing it last week. Shame they have the boring fans fitted, just makes them boring. 4508 is still on my 'to ride' list!
Will have to hunt 4482 as well before it goes for Crimsoning, that's the only red/white Gemini left at PB that blasts its Cooling Fans.
