For possible re-sale presumably (however unlikely) and to keep them in reasonable condition generally, just in case they are required to run for NXWM again.

It's not 'seeing if they run,' as though out of curiosity - it's keeping the vehicles in warm storage, so their electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems don't deteriorate to a position that they are only good to be written-off or scrapped.  Sure, they may never run for NX again, but this process is a practical insurance against them seeing future use or sale.

There's no warm storage at Miller Street, the Scania Artics are left outside to the ellements.

They are started monthly to ensure engines & such like don't seize up.

It's a gemini bus on a gemini route @2206 it's been back for over a week now. Will crop up on any gemini route now. I understand that it's newly transferred in if anyone wanted to find it they would use the buses to find thread...
