But then we have something similar to the E40D and E400 Trident debate. There is no differentiation.

There's a big difference in the facelift and the pre facelift isn't there?

So what if WA don't regard it as a different vehicle. The normal allocation for the 33 is branded E40Ds in NXWM livery. A Crimson pre facelift on the 33 is noteworthy to me because it's not a 33 branded facelift E40D in NXWM livery...

Also, crimson was being done route by route. 33 isn't a route that's converted to Crimson yet.

So there's a couple reasons.

I agree here,

I put my initial comment here after Tony mentioned in another thread that WA don't differentiate between the types so I was assuming the same could be applied to PB

We do seem to differentiate between the two types. The older Enviro400s do tend to stick to the 16, 101 and the 7, with the 33 and Suttons getting the newer ones.

Saying that, 4933 has been on the 7 today

Still nothing insightful on the PB thread yet ? Arh well.  :D

Are the 101s getting branded once all the rest of ex pn e400s are painted in crimson?

Really like the 16 branding tbf, wonder if the 101 will get done to promote the fact it serves the jewelry Quarter.

Yes the 101 will be done when the buses earmarked for it are all painted

@Chris - In answer to your question, yes, the 101 will be branded.

Anyone have any idea what is going on at PB today? Is the normal Vehicle Allocator off or is he/she having a funny day today?

How about tomorrow having a full allocation of ALX400's on Sutton Lines? That would be hellfire!

4854 is on the 16. (Thought i'd mention, as it's not the usual Trident E400 allocation. :-\ )
4291 on the 16, also.

If my eyes don't decieve me, 4279 is on the 16, in addition to 4291

They are 'Master Drivers'. They have basically been doing more training to earn 'Master Driver'. I'm not sure what it's about though. I know two 'Master Drivers' on the Sutton's. Will have to ask them about it.

An article from May 2014 on the NXWM website about these elite drivers.
