Thank you i just realised theres 6 4697 i missed off the count

It's easy to do that being the older model. I always find it to be noteworthy when I see a Omnicity

Thanks, Tony. I was contemplating how many non-tridents I saw - gotta admit, I was close though! ;)

Also, 4498 is on the 101 - gonna miss the Geminis on there, not that there were many anyway - it seems to rattle a lot from the rear, when pulling off, i've noticed.

Undoubtedly. Unless it's the 45**s at WB. I think they're ear-deafeningly loud! 47** are my personal favourites. It's a shame that NX never managed to get any Volvo B9TLs (Gemini 2 bodied) - I always thought they look commendable...

I think the original Geminis are by far the best looking. The facelifts and onwards just don't look right for me. I'm going on the looks of the ones that used to be on the 110. I remember those old school days waiting on Upper Bull Street, for the Mercs and Tridents on the 74/79 (and the ever so rare B7 ALX on the 74Es, seeing 4475-4516 on the 7 & Sutton Lines looking far more pleasing to the eye than the FJ08 --- ones that were on the 110. The back just didn't look right. Obviously that's all in my opinion. I believe I've only ever been on the FJ08s once when my nbus/Busmaster or whatever it was got rejected, even though they had the sticker saying it accepted it. Anyway I got off and caught the then brand new E400s on the Suttons or the ALX/Gems.

Anyway nostalgia over.

Don't be too hasty on nostalgia talk. ;) Those were the days... I agree, Wrightbus shouldn't have mismatched the body... It did look a bit odd to me, but, dare I say it, I think the Gemini 2 body was the best. I hate the facelifted Streetdeck. Though modern/borderline futuristic, the logo looks like it gets smaller, with every new vehicle...

The only WB 45**s that (have cooling fans that are on all the time) are loud are 4504 and occasionally 4522. The 47**s are much worse for having the coolers on, they are really good though

I'm sure it'll soon be the "Ex WB 45**s".

I've got a feeling the 45** batch will all be at AG shortly.
