A driver got on the 23 this morning and I overheard him saying that from what he has heard, the first of 2 E400s to transfer to CV is due today. The 2 transferring are 4769, and possibly 4766 (didn't quite catch that one so it might be wrong).

Also mentioned that they will have 11/12 branding, and will have partially leather seats like the 900, though the person he heard this off wasn't 100% about this.

Obviously I don't know how true any of this is, or if I heard correctly, but it does fit with what has been mentioned here before. Would be interesting to see what colour they choose for the branding, I think purple would look quite good.

Very little if that is correct!
4766 & 4769 are both in service at Walsall today. My postings in the repaints might actually give a clue, but it is unlikely that one will arrive today although it is painted.

I guess its just garage rumours then, I was just repeating what I heard. He did say only one was ready and he didn't know which, so I probably misheard the fleet number (at first I thought he said 4762...).

I'll admit I would have been surprised had one turned up today as it hadn't been mentioned on here already. And I would be even more surprised if they turn up in Coventry with part leather seats.

Didn't think to look at the repaints thread. I'm guessing 4763 is the completed one, with 4764 to follow?

A number of people have told me that Bendybus 6012 has been withdrawn as it has defects which are not economic to repair. Is this true?

No, 6012 is at evobus being repaired as it is covered by the warranty.
