Could be we see a couple of PEs withdrawn Mercs reinstated if the damage is to bad?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Not really Stu. I think WN would be able to cope without 1 or 2 Mercs

If the need for buses was that great, I'm sure they could borrow a B7RLE or 2 from other garages, in a hypothetical situation

Knowing WN they will put 4003/7 back on the road as replacements  :o

Info I have is that it was a fault with the bus, however it seams the all new and safety singing bus station has occurred yet another serious incident regardless of who or what was at fault. This is the 3rd or 4th incident where a bus has collided with the bus station. My suggestion would have been to angle the bus stops AWAY from the stand or at least parallel or leave a bigger gap to the stand I believe if this was the case most of the incidents could have been minimized or reduced. The bus station is an absolute joke considering the money spent nothing seams to work or function correctly:

toilets frequently out of order
No hot water
Broken/faulty dryers
Easy access to toilet facilities for vandals (thus the amount of vandalism)
Incorrect timetables on displays
Broken/faulty sliding doors
Not enough room for buses
not enough room for passengers
When it snows/rains it comes in through the gaps in the roof
Endless relaying of paving as it seams to keep cracking
Nowhere for buses to wait (breakdown/layover)
Shortage of leaflets/timetables

Maybe you can add to the list, we can send a copy off for absolutely nothing to be done about it!

The 59 has been in Absolute chaos this afternoon with waits of 25-35 minutes and when about 5 of them appeared two went out of service and ran dead to another point of the route (To keep to timing because they were running over half hour late) and the 3 buses that did pick up were very very busy with 5514 on my journey into Wolverhampton being packed to the brim and 4569 and 4540 both left Wolverhampton almost near full.

Plus most of the other 59's are also running slightly late too! 126's haven't been running that good this afternoon either with several entering Wolverhampton together

Yeah 126's all over the place, 3 entered B'ham at the same time this afternoon and then when I got to Dudley there were about 5 at once going both ways + 4558 on the 126 has gained a new bright red bonnet

No 4558 has gained a replacement panel at the front underneath the windscreen. 4587 has had a mismatched panel at the rear

No worries Matt :)

Anyway I have been told that the changes to the 28 are as follows:

Will not serve the Ashmore Park Loop (Will just serve the bottom part of Griffiths Drive) and also will leave Wolverhampton via the 59 route (Right Pipers Row,Left Queen St,Right Princess St,Right Broad St onto Wednesfield Rd).

Any news if there are likely to be any replacements Nathan, or will WN be ok at the moment?

Should be fine. If it came to the worst and WN were that short of buses then 4003 would probably be reinstated but they seem fine

4313 is back at wn with 4311 and 4312 coming back too.

Just to clear things up also, I can categorically say it was not a fault with the bus in the accident, it was driver error.
