Saw 4556 on the 256/7 today, has it had an accident on the rear, seem to have filler applied & a rough paint job on the rear right hand side?

Not that I am aware of. Will have a look next time I see it :) 1683 was on the afternoon peak 59 today absolutely rammed to the brim! There was a B6 on the morning peak 59 like usual.

One for BN, 5417 sounded like the Rad Fan (assuming it has one) was going round the engine this morning, right racket!!
Preserving a bit of West Midlands heritage with 1037 and 1849.

I rode it 2 times, on the morning the engine sounded rough but around 6 this evening the speakers were making an annoying noise too

4311 seems to be back at Wolverhampton.  It is on the 255 today and will operate the 1230 from Merry Hill to Wolverhampton.  The question is if any more of this batch are transferring from YW back to WN.

Ashley

1676 to be scrapped with a bent chassis

530 is now at WN as a parts donor

Logic would say 4310 is also there, unless it is just 1 trident transferring as it could be a replacement for 4003.

Do you mean 4007? Or has another one expired

trident4370

I'm pretty sure I heard that 4003 had been involved in a crash with another bus, may be wrong. I had forgotten about 4007 though, 4310 and 4311 would make perfect replacements.

mranon

wasnt it 4003 and 1676 that "fought" a couple of weeks ago by wn bus station?

Ashley

Yes it was 1676 and 4003 in the collision, 1676 was repaired but then they found it had a chassis damage

4310 is coming back as well

Did anything fill the gap for 4007 when it was withdrawn. Will be interesting to see if 4312 comes back aswell

Ashley

4007 didn't get a replacement, but WN have enough vehicles

Not sure that information about 1676 is correct, can BN confirm one way or another?

I have found my not-so-good photo of 4003 after its accident and uploaded it to Flickr
