There doesnt seem to be enough platinums for the 529 / X529. Not seen an X529 not platinum yet but several 529's I have. Seen platinums on non-plat routes though? Should they not prioritise?

It's generally the fact that a platinum isn't available when they need them to go out on said platinum route. They become available later in the day so another route gets them

No it doesn't. It's that obscure of a route I don't even remember NX announcing it being withdrawn.

All the 5A did was go directly into Codsall and miss out Bilbrook, so hardly "obscure."

I called it obscure because it's kind of weird to me. It's similar to the 6A in where it's basically runs for an hour or two hours when it could easily just be on a 5 or a 6.

Both the 5a and 6a date back to pre Wolverhampton review routes 535A & 506/7A iirc

Nope.  The 5A ran every 30 minutes direct between Wolverhampton & Codsall.  It basically complemented the 5 and combined with it's 30 minute frequency to provide a 15 minute frequency between Wolverhampton - Claregate - Codsall.

@BN have drivers of the 8 complained about the low hanging trees on Penfields Road? Everytime I get off the bus at the Snowden Road stop the bus hits the low hanging branches quite hard?
