From the 24th April, Most evening trips will only operate between Wolverhampton and i54 only (as 54E's).

From the same date, the 4 will no longer serve Codsall. It will go as far as i54.

Is it known who will cover Cannock/Stafford to Wolverhampton evening journeys from this date?

Dread to think what it was like when it was like in the 70s when it was the D10, later to become the 285, suppose the only advantage was that the buses had manual gearboxes.

Apart from NX, no one else will do evenings & Sundays round there & it's too far out of the area for Diamond!

i54 are obviously pulling the plug on funding on the evening trips (section past i54 towards Stafford/Hednesford). Therefore, unless NX or another operator step in commercially, these trips will not be replaced.

I think now B7's are no longer noteworthy on the 81. They're appearing at least twice, possibly 3 times a week now.

2014 was a replacement this morning for 4567 with a faulty speedometer needle. 4567 is now back in service on the 59.
