I swear i saw 601 parked up on the 62 about 11:30 this morning? Maybe my eyes were playing up as i saw it from a distance. Caught 508 on the last 62 from Finchfield

Your eyes were not deceiving you 601 came out on the 62 and was swopped for 508 at lunchtime

4580 is one of the Tridents. 27/04 board to be precise.


And 843 was the E200. Just passed me on the 25C in Wednesfield at 18:25 (This trip comes off the 27)

Apparently 4535 replaced a Merc on the 81 today, any truth in that?

Afraid not. 4535 spent the entire day on the 255 & 256, no tridents showing on there all day

Funny you should mention that as i overheard one of the inspectors having a discussion on the phone about double deckers not being allowed on the 81's.

Apparently 4535 came off the 255 around 1630 at merry hill to replace a defective Merc however if that was the case it wouldn't be on late 256's tonight so he says, the other claim is that 1668 also failed at Merry Hill at the same time. I'm not doing this to be vindictive or nasty but just for clarity really

It is possible 4535 did cover a missing trip on the 81 as double checking it did start on running board 255-17 and did finish on running board 255-17 at 18:45, but it does appear to have missed a trip at around 16:30 and no bus is shown operating the 16:45 81 from Merry Hill, so it looks like the inspector asked the driver to go back to Wolverhampton as an 81 then pick up his own running board again.

I cannot check on 1668 because it has been changed on one system to a Pensnett bus, but not the other its journey are not showing

By the time it arrived the board had nearly finished so never went in service!
WN don't use DDecks on the 81 cause of low trees on the route

Not too sure but i think 842 had a few problem at wolves bus station at 06.30. Engineers were there. Wonder when a e200 might drift onto the 529/126 ;)
