4898 900 e400 broke down in meridian today around 1530 I was on it 1508 from Coventry pool meadow due to a problem with its gearbox when I asked the driver
Your post is very unclear. Could you elaborate on which direction it was heading?

Quite clear, it was on the 15:08 from Pool Meadow when it failed at 15:30 in Meriden, spelling & grammar may not be perfect, but a perfectly acceptable and understandable post.

4324 out on the 957 today rode it back to Sheldon working the 10:37 ex Solihull
60 Birmingham - Cranes Park
72/72A Solihull Station - Chelmsley Wood
73 Solihull - Heartlands Hospital
X1 Birmingham - Coventry
X2 Birmingham - Solihull Station
A10 Solihull - Cranes Park / Chelmsley Wood

:D

I spotted a NX bus (although it doesn't seem to be from BC garage) being towed on Coventry Road going towards Tyseley on 14th feb at around 15:45.

Does anyone why tridents is becoming more common on 900/957 route? When enviro400 was introduced, these routes were usually worked fully by enviro400s.

Lastly, does sending a complaint letter/email to NX work? I complained once a while ago, no action was taken (as said by the same driver I complained about!) despite having evidence on my part. Now something happened with one of the drivers at BC garage, I'm debating if I should waste my time on writing a complaint letter/email to them, can anyone advise me on this one?

Trident 4609

E400's 4899/4909 are off the road after both were involved in a collision with each other meaning tridents/B7RLE's are filling in on the 957's and tridents are filling in on the 900. Also recently 900/57 branded buses have been appearing on the 24,45/7,59,60,61/3 etc

I'll PM you.

And the reason for the Tridents I think is due merely to the parking arrangements at BC. Bit, all over the place. Also some are put on short runnings due to V. I. and Steam Clean. I saw Alice getting steamed in Digbeth yesterday. Probably explains it.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

My best friend lives close to the Caarlyle yard in West Bromwich. He said the other day he saw 4899 and 4909. I just forgot to mention it. Thanks LS

Does this mean Tridents will stop appearing on the 900/957 now?
