Loads of platinum's doing work for Coventry fc noticed travelling through Sheldon. Is this regular work I'm assuming for BC. Is that another of the reasons the x70 rarely gets platinums at the weekend then?
Mostly not platinum on weekdays as well.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

I don't get it either it is a platinum or it isn't. Wondering if it actually performs as well they way always follows behind the x12 seems kind of pointless and must be getting hammered since the coleshill / water Orton improved. Only ever seen full loads when carrying coleshill workers .

6945-6950 were 'apparently' bought specially for it, remember it being posted on the forum.

Personally never using  the route I would love to see Plattys introduced on the X12 if they were displaced from a route I know well perhaps someone could start a campaign locally for them we could then have the excellent Streetdecks and for me the world would be at peace!

As my namesake and the person I most admire in life and model myself on would so eloquently say "Drat, Drat and Double Drat"

I believe they are for topping up the allocation for existing platinum routes for BC such as the University routes.

Speaking of 6945-50, will they ever gain generic branding? Or are they going to stay like they are forever? Is there any reason why they didn't get it?
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

Which is why I said generic branding, not route branding...

You could ask the same question of why most of the recent Platinums at YW stayed unbranded.

It is likely they will receive branding in the near future, once they've been moved around after the electrics get delivered.
