Okay, so I finally got a ride on 6886 and I have to say the next stop announcements are improved overall.
No skipping anymore, much more informative, e.g Somerset Road for Vale Village.
A few things to mention though, I liked that Awold Road was added instead of saying Kemberton Road twice but for some reason it had some woman mumbling it and you could barely make it out. Also now it says Selly Oak, Sainsburys, but Sainsburys has moved. Harborne Lane was just fine. And sometimes it takes a while to say the next stop after leaving the last one. All in all though pretty good.
I did wonder about the temporary stop on George Road though, thinking it should be further up and judging by the timing on the announcement it seems like it will get moved further up at some point.

Here's an article from 2016
https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/news/national-express-master-driver-may-2016

I'll hazard a guess it was probably just a bit of banter on the driver's half ???

Master driver/ advanced driver / NVQ,s all to make NX look good in the bus industry.
IMO not worth the paper they,re printed on haven't done any of them, turned down master driver rather be working on my collection of cars , building projects from scratch is real achievement and its tangible , those who restore/ refurb buses I can relate too theres pride in when the job is a good,un.

Being Master driver or what ever else it's called still doesn't  stop you from being verbally or racially abused for simply doing your job.

Not quite certain with the others, but 4949 has had its eBay wrap removed.
