Did all 3 x Kings Ferry loans make it? I've seen 411 & 501 confirmed as arriving.

Who actually created the unrealistic timetable for the x20/x21/x22. I'm yet to see an x22 that has been on time from 3:30 pm.

They're incredibly difficult to timetable when the traffic is that bad and that unpredictable. Coupled with the run up to Christmas, you can forget about timetables. There were 4's (AG) running up to 55 mins as far as I'm aware, some even more. Solihull has been particularly bad this week but I'm Ute it's nothing on Birmingham City Centre. Don't blame NX. Blame the lack of infrastructure. What can NX do to improve it? Have you got any suggestions?

The point that many of us made at the time was that switching more services to run via the QE / The Vale under the notion that they'd be faster and more reliable was wrong. The Harborne services were broken up because it was difficult to manage late running and adjust vehicles as it could leave outer termini with huge gaps in service. I have to agree that the 23/24 do run better now.

However the issue has now been shifted to the QE services - a group of every 15 or 20 minute routes that serve a very congested and delayed route and are presumably difficult to adjust.

The X22 is timetabled to get from city to California around 10 mins quicker than the 23 in the evening peak. Ironically, the 23s that I catch in the evening peak often have to wait time at Calthorpe Road now. The X22s can spend an age just trying to get off Smallbrook Queensway. So 10 mins quicker to California does seem ambitious.

I don't know what the answer is but from what I've seen I'd be surprised if there aren't changes to the QE services at some point.

From a selfish perspective however, I don't want the old 22 back - the gaps in service are fewer and smaller with just the 23.

BC buses now have "i'm dropping off only" on the display as well.
The 16:10 X2 short to Yardley Swan from Solihull used it on Friday, first one I've seen use it.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.
