There is also a B7RLE on the 24 today. 2137, I think.

TBH I've noticed a rapid decrease of the amount of tridents on the 24. Harborne corridor seems to be e400, hybrids, b7rles.. which is what it is meant to be?

Not this week, but the previous 2-3 weeks there have been plenty of Tridents on the 24.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.

So? At least you had a bus, as long as it operated why does it matter whether you had a Hybrid, E400, or any other type?

There wasn't any on the 24! Are E400's too slow for you? Anyway the 24 just gets the spare Hybrids, so you won't see one on it everyday.

So nx aren't meeting customer requirements but as long as it reaches Stupid Birmingham rules then it's fine?

You seem to be confusing "customer requirements" with "enthusiasts requirements".  ;)

I'm sure Tony can back me up on this, as its a school holiday, when vehicle requirements are lower, it is an ideal opportunity to start moving vehicles around.

Plus I'm sorry to have to tell you, that any new rules with regards to vehicle emission requirements will always supercede any customer (or indeed 'enthusiast') requirements.

Passengers just want to get on a bus, to get to where they want to go. You might be unhappy that you don't get the 'type' of bus that you'd like to (or would normally 'expect' to) get, but NX have to put customers requirements ahead of any 'enthusiasts' requirements.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Maybe I should have put that differently. Having single deckers on a previously 99% of the time double decker route? Is that not suggesting there is going to be overcrowding? Same for the 127/128 omnilink s being used?

As I already stated, its school holidays this week. So passenger numbers are lower, as a lot of people who normally use the buses to commute to school/work are on holiday.

B7RLEs are not that uncommon on the 24 anyway, even before this week. I can see that they can get crowded in rush hour but during the day with a 10 min frequency, and in the evenings they manage fine.

I may be wide of the mark but I'd expect BC's allocation of single decks to reduce this weekend for the East Birmingham service changes. They will only technically be needed on the 98/X64 from then.

With the demise of the 59 and the 73 moving to AG I would like to thank the drivers on these routes. I have been taking my wife into the City Centre in a wheelchair and have always been treated with courtesy and consideration and often been made to feel welcome. This has made what could have difficult journeys a pleasure.

That's what it says in the picture...
Tony said it was going to be Trident operated.
NX have removed it now.
