4872 was also in for paint according to the last update. And incase you are far behind and not aware, PB's 61 plate E400's are in for Crimson paint.

A couple of PB drivers said to me they saw it out on Thursday.

Booted off 6703 - from the 900E, outbound - on Adderley Street. Idk if the bus is defective?

Or maybe no relief driver. That happens occasionally there.

Including outbound journeys? Seems a bit odd.. My later bus was in convoy with 6718 later - suppose this was a replacement?

- 6703 was not in fact defective; was driven back to garage after we had alighted.

I've known it  a few times on outbound journeys. Being kicked off at Adderley Street than having to try and get a full bus worth of passengers onto already full buses behind.

All just seems a bit inconvenient!  ::) Especially when the working was a short journey as well! :P

If there's no driver what do you expect is going to happen.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

4631 is now missing off the 63 because of two idiots who decided to smash the upstairs rear windows.

They got on at Moor Street Queensway and got off the next stop and were each carrying small speakers.

 >:( Absolute idiots - hope it's been reported and some attempt can be made to catch them...What pleasure do they get from wrecking a bus - sure they wouldn't go wrecking their own property. It's like the Platinums being etched to death at the back of the upper deck - small minority who have to go and wreck it for the rest.

Would you rather a long working is missing and more passengers are inconvenienced or a short?
