4877 currently being put out by firemen. Engine fire. Currently parked under the bridge where the 957 route meets the 6/37 in Digbeth. Was a city bound 957.
I'd say SCRAP IT, was worthless anyway  :P.  How bad was the damage?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

It looked like no damage, to the body anyway. Just water sprayed into the engine compartment, with the fire exit open and the bus evacuated. Road was sealed off by police cars and two fire engines were present.

Re deckers on the 29. I haven't seen one. All I have seen are B7RLEs

Gareth

Maybe someone at BC can update the destination displays?
Today I've seen both a 70 to Solihull and a 70E to Chelmsley Wood.

Trident 4609

@Michael Bevan In relation to your post in the Noteworthy Workings thread, What's noteworthy about Tridents on the 24? They are always on there. Have been for years. Just that the majority of the buses on there are E400's.

Don't suppose Michael knows 4609 transferred from WN recently? Was on the 73 yesterday.
